Biggest bank again is the country’s best company to work in

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s biggest bank was tappedas the country’s best company to work in for the fourth consecutive year,according to the magazine Mercado.

Banco Popular Dominicano was selected by the economic publicationtaking into account the "consistent policy of human resourcemanagement" and the extensive training efforts for its workforce of morethan 7,000, which led to the bank’s continued status as number one.

The magazine, which compiles its ranking among 100 localand foreign companies in the country, stresses in the fact that the People isthe entity that leads the category of companies that invest the most time to trainits collaborators, through various programs.

Mercado also stresses the scholarships available toundergraduates, graduate and master’s degrees, the facilities learn languages??or international higher education programs, “in addition to workshops ande-learning courses that all members of the organization should regularly take,as a commitment to develop domestic talent.”
