Santo Domingo.- The executive vice president of the Corporation of Dominican State Electricity Companies (CDEEE), Celso Marranzini, said yesterday that in just three years he has saved the country 2.614 billion dollars, thanks to the achievements of the sector.
Presenting the electricity sector accounts, he said that his management “far from being a destabilizing factor for the economy, for the first time the electricity sector has been part of the macro-economic balance”.
He recalled that renegotiations with the former Cogentrix, now the San Pedro de Macorís Electricity Company, were almost complete and therefore could not be included in the figures, but a conservative estimate puts the annual reduction in costs at US$60 million, including a reduction in the charge for capacity.
Marranzini said that an unprecedented 2,600kms of distribution networks are being built, which will convert more than 400,000 customers into 24-hour consumers, “eliminating poverty and generating employment”.

If you guys pay a little attention to the country's affair maybe you will understand what he meant. Remember how much money he saved by cutting over the thousand "botella" he cut. He cleaned Radames Segura shanigan that even his son's girlfriend from Argentina had a 100,000 pesos a month botellas even though she never went to work one day.
