Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s biggest power company on Monday announced a visit by an El Salvador Govt. delegation to its AES Andres, Boca Chica energy complex, headed by Electricity and Telecom Superintendent, Blanca Noemi Coto Estrada.

The tour was hosted by the presidents of AES El Salvador, Abraham Bichara, and of AES Dominicana, Edwin De los Santos, who stressed that AES is honored to receive the distinguished delegation and share the lessons learned to diversify the energy matrix.

The El Salvador Superintendent thanked the AES Dominicana executives for the invitation and also invited them to her country to share experiences.

In a statement, AES Dominicana said the Salvadoran officials will tour other countries in the region that use natural gas-fired power plants.
