Gasoline, diesel fall a 3rd straight week, gases stay put

Cheaper gas, head to Damajagua 27 falls

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Friday posted lower prices on gasoline and diesel for the third straight week, while propane and natural gas remain unchanged.

From May 13 to19 premium gasoline will cost RD$210.80, a drop of RD$2.00; regular will cost RD$195.70, or RD$1.00 lower; regular diesel will cost RD$141.00, or RD$2.00 lower and optimum diesel will RD$155.60, or RD$2.00 per gallon.

Avtur will sold cost RD$105.90 and kerosene RD$130.00, both RD$3.00 lower, while fuel oil will cost RD$92.05 per gallon, or RD$1.00 lower.

Propane remains at RD$99.50 per gallon and natural gas at RD$28.97 per cubic meter.

The Dominican Central Bank’s posted average exchange rate of RD$47.44 per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
