Video of top official’s nephew roughing-up cops goes viral(Update2)

Santiago.-(Update 2). Local media report injuries including fractures in a foot of one of the agents when Villaman tried to drive away, who allegedly won’t press charges. Villaman reportedly apologized to the two acting agents.

FILE- A nephew of Interior and Police minister Jose Ramon Fadul (Monchy) on Thursday pushed and shoved and voiced vulgarities at two Metropolitan Transit Authority (Amet) agents who had stopped him for a traffic violation.

In a video (https://youtu.be/LOIokxfqTb0) by one of the agents which has gone viral Eduardo Villamán Fadul repeatedly and violently pushes the agents, in addition to yelling obscenities in the incident which backed up traffic on Estrella Sadhalá Av. e near the Dominico-Americano school in Santiago.

Despite the officers’ attempt to calm the man, Villaman, wearing a National Police cap, became more agitated repeating, "Do you not know who I am?."

As the incident unfolded Fadul Villaman repeatedly demanded the agents’ names vowing to get them sanctioned, while trying to prevent being recorded with the cop’s phone.
