Trough brings scattered showers today, Sunday

Santo Domingo.- A trough over Puerto Rico and the MonaPassage are causing scattered showers today and Sunday, the National Weather Office(Onamet) forecast Sat.

It said the downpours will be more frequent over all provincesexce[t the east region.

It said the showers will continue over the territory, fromthe prevailing east- southeast wind, while another trough over central Cuba is expectedto arrive Monday.

Onamet forecasts temperatures ranging from a high of 31°C,to a low 20°C.
