Scattered showers thru Wed., high temps

Santo Domingo.- A trough northwest of the country and atropical wave over Puerto Rico moving west will showers Tuesday afternoon andevening, the National Weather Office -Onamet- forecasts today.

It said the rain will be mostly over the central and easternprovinces.

Onamet said the seasonably high temperatures will continue formuch of the national territory, with a high of 32 to a low of 23 degrees Celsius.

It adds that the trough will leave the area Wednesday, thoughthe approach of another tropical wave will bring scattered showers over theNortheast, Southeast and Central Mountains in the afternoon and early evening.
