No injuries as Venezuelan jet makes emergency landing at busy airport

Santo Domingo.- A plane from Venezuelan Aserca Airlinesmade an emergency landing around 10:30am Tuesday at Las Americas International Airport (AILA).

The aircraft, flight 420 from Venezuela, was attended byLas Americas emergency response, after its pilot called the control tower towarn of unspecified failures, although one of the plane’s engines was leaking aliquid.

According to preliminary reports the 139 passengers in theaircraft were evacuated safely.
