Gustavo Tavares reelected to head American Chamber of Commerce

Santo Domingo.- Gustavo Tavares, president of Maritima Dominicana,was re-elected to head Dominican Republic’s American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAMDR)for the 2016-2017 period.

The other Executive Committee members were also reelectedduring internal polls held in April and the formal meeting at the Hotel ElEmbajador on Tuesday.

In addition to Tavares the Executive Committee is formed byDavid Fernandez, Roberto Herrera, Ramón Ortega, Ricardo Perez and Maximo Vidal.

Also Mary Fernandez, MariaWaleska Alvarez, Amelia Vicini, Edwin de los Santos, Eduardo Cruz, PedroBrache, Mercedes RamosFrancesca Ranieri, Carlos José Martí, Franklin Leon, CarlosValiente Fernández and Carlos Fondeur.
