US Embassy shows journalists how to apply for a media visa

SD – The Foreign Ministry and the US Embassy on Fridayshowed more than 70 journalists how to apply for the "I" type ofvisa, which is for the media.

Foreign Affairs PR Miguel Medina, US Embassy Press Attaché JeremiahKnight and Presidency Deputy PR Yosarah Fernández headed the meeting.

Consular Section Nonimmigrant Visa officials presented thesix steps to apply for a visa and answered questions from the print, Web, radioand TV personnel at the Diplomatic and Consular Training Institute.
