Atlanta.- The Atlanta Braves have reached an agreement with Dominican  star hurler Bartolo Colon, according to a source quoted by

Ken Rosenthal of reports that the deal is for one year and US$12.5 million.

Colón becomes the second former Cy Young Award winner to join the Braves during the offseason, after R.A. Dickey agreed to a one-year contract and US$8 million with Atlanta on Thursday.

In 500 openings in the major leagues, Colón holds an earned run average -ERA- of 3.94.

The amazing 43-year-old Dominican had 33 starts for the Mets in 2016. He won the Cy Young Award in 2005 with the Anaheim Angels.
