Downpours also roil Dominican Winter Baseball calendar

Santo Domingo.- The unprecedented downpoursthroughout November have not only devastated vast areas of the north region, they’vealso made a shambles of Dominican Winter Baseball calendar.

Due to the downpours still falling over Santiagoand other cities, Tuesday night’s game between Santo Domingo’s Leones and Santiago’sAguilas was rained out at Cibao stadium.

Cibao stadium’s diamond is still drenched bythe downpours in the north, for which he game was rescheduled for Thursday,Dec. 8.

The recent downpours have also rained outgames in San Francisco (northeast) and San Pedro (east).
