Berlin.– Nearly 25 companies and tour operators, along with the Tourism Ministry, are ready for the Berlin International Fair (ITB 2012), scheduled from March 7-11.

Tourism minister Francisco Javier Garcia and Petra Cruz, director of the Dominican Tourism Promotion Office in Germany, will be heading the Dominican delegation.

Germany occupies the country’s fifth supplier of tourists, and the second place in the European market, only preceded by the United States, Canada and France.

The county's tourism doesn't need promotion, it needs honest product.

Rightly said,,,,,,,,,,,,,what is needed most in the DR tourism market is honest government officials and less corruption. I guess the tourism in the dr is well marketed no need for more market adverts,,,,the ones in charge should market themselves with a slogan saying,,,We're NOT CORRUPT and you don't have to pay us under the table....wow good marketing.
