For those of you who like to be ignorant without knowledge...I see a few here...the Grand is an excellent resort. They serve food better than any of the above are able to afford...but hey...life is great in the Keys...eh Danny? Don't have to lock the doors? Things must have changed since 2004 when someone helped themselves to the stuff on my boat....a week later had a friend's house cleaned out. But hey...Danny knows all.
Choo cho...all aboard the Danny Bullshit Train....Josean stowed away in the caboose.

52.8% of statistics are just pulled out of the air, except in the tourism industry, where the figure is 93.8% (including this one - so make it 93.9%)

PuntaCanaMike,

The reality is, no country or state is totally devoid of crime, a fact many Dominicans are so keen to point out on Dominican Today. However the important thing is the relative incidence, which in the Dominican Republic is so high that bars on windows and razor-wire topped walls are a standard feature of Dominican architecture everywhere. dany000 may be crazy, stillr there is some basis for what he said.

Thank God most Dominicans like Josean were sent to the firing squad in the past ...otherwise we would likely be speaking (or braying) kreyol and eating mud cookies in a totally deforested island!

No montilla ,we are real Dominicans not the traitors who should be hung by the closest tree and who would no mind seeing Haitians take over DR .If Patriotism is hatred then I wear it as a badge of honour and won't let any ghetto Dominican with brains fried by US Afrocentric racism tell Dominicans what we should do or not do. If the Patriots of the DR had thought like some imbeciles in this forum there would not be a DT because we would not exist !

As far as Josean ,he is a lost cause because foreigners like Punta Cana Mike have more love and interest in DR than he does ,now if Josean was Haitian as many believe then he would be a very patriotic one indeed!

Maybe I missed something, but where has Josean indicated he is in favor of Haiti re-taking the Dominican Republic?
I think the country would do better if all the phony patriots did something about their massive problems rather than attacking imaginary enemies of the republic.

I am always astonished at the self-appointed defenders of the culture and nationality as if they have a monopoly on virtue and righteousness.

Patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels, as it has been said, and in this case of a bigoted xenophobic racist to boot!

Samuel Johnson 7th April, 1775. Still true today. A true patriot of the republic would not be happy living of foreign loans, drug-addicts and tax-payers and pimps.

Patriotism is important in any country. But you also shouldn't look away from the facts and play chivo loco. I believe criticism comes from a good place. Its usually based on goodwill and extreme frustration.
