Florida business leaders look to invest in Puerto Plata´s tourism

Miami .- Numerous USbusiness leaders specialized in tourism traveled to the Dominican Republicmotivated by consul general in Florida Miguel Angel Rodriguez, to see firsthandthe Dominicans market´s competitive advantages for foreign investors.

Acento.com.do reportsthat representatives from more than 24 major companies involved in tourismdevelopment will participate in the investment forum "Invest in DR-PuertoPlata," co-hosted by the Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center atthe coty dubbed "Bride of the Atlantic" today Thursday.

"Puerto Plata isthe site with strongest for opportunities growth for investors especially inthe tourism in the context of the soon-to-be inaugurated port of Amber Covedeveloped by the cruise line Carnival Corporation," Rodriguez said.
