Barranquilla, Colombia.- The Dominican Republic women’s volleyball team crushed Colombia 25-19, 25-17, and 25-19 in Barranquilla, retaining the Central American and Caribbean Games crown, which they’ve also been winning since 2002 in San Salvador, EFE reports.

Before a standing-room-only crowd in the Sugar Baby Rojas coliseum, the Colombians sought to set the pace from the start, led by Amanda Coneo, whose powerful serves began to hurt and rack up points to put her team ahead.
