Santo Domingo.- Starting with the Mexican Navy training ship Cuauhtémoc, Dominicans were surprised on Thurs. with the unannounced visit of several multi-mast vessels.
The Dominican Navy posted a video showcasing the visit to Santo Domingo by training vessels from Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia, in the biggest gathering of tall ships in the Dominican Republic.
The Navy said the crews of the ships will host tours for the public, in the Velas Santo Domingo event, that will be open until Sunday.
