US Envoy, Dominican Consul talk trade in NYC

New York.- US ambassador to Dominican Republic, Robin Bernstein on Sat. visited Dominican general consul in this city, Carlos Castillo, and discussed education and economic development, among other topics of interest for both nations.

Bernstein said for her education is a very important issue, and stressed how learning English can benefit both nations in trade, tourism, higher learning and other areas.

Washington’s envoy expressed her desire to promote and strengthen trade, spur entrepreneurship and the exchange of SMEs with the US, Dominican Republic’s main trading partner and largest contributor to direct foreign investment.
