441 foreigners detained during Immigration raids

Santo Domingo.- Immigration (DGM) on Mon. reported the detention of 441 foreigners during raids carried out in different sectors of Santo Domingo Oeste and La Romana Province.

“In the operations conducted prior coordination with the Mayor of Santo Domingo Oeste and La Romana Provincial Government took part DGM inspectors, members of the Dominican Army and Navy, as well as Police officers and Justice Ministry officials,” the agency said in a statement.

Intervened during the operations were sectors of La Romana del Oeste, Villa Hermosa and La Caleta, as well as various districts of Santo Domingo Oeste.
