Santo Domingo.- China Foreign minister, Wang Yi, will arrive in the Dominican Republic Thursday, when major announcements are expected, including possible investments in various local areas.
Quoting a local source outlet El Caribe reports that the official will hold meetings with president Danilo Medina and senior government officials.
The meetings will also serve to hammer out details of Medina’s visit to his China counterpart Xi Jinping before year end.
Dominican Republic and China established diplomatic on April 30, as announced in joint press conferences in Beijing and Santo Domingo.
