T.S. Kirk to weaken before reaching Dominican coast

Santo Domingo. – Tropical Storm Kirk was advancing through Caribbean waters on Thursday and will unleash downpours that could cause floods, meteorologists warn.

A tropical storm watch was issued for various Eastern Caribbean islands.

The US National Hurricane Center on Thur. said that Kirk’s center will pass as a tropical depression south of the Dominican Republic at 8am Sunday.
