Choices for high court justices concern Industries

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Industries Association (AIRD) vice president Circe Almanzar on Wed. said business leaders have created a technical committee to  propose a methodology to select the Constitutional Court’s justices and an appropriate profile to choose those justices.

The business leader visited president Danilo Medina in the National Palace to discuss issues concerning business. “In the sector there’s concern with the choice of members of the high courts.”

“They have to gather the appropriate profiles, comply with ethical conditions, professional conditions, but specialists in different areas are also required because the Supreme Court of Justice deals with cases from many areas,” she said.
