Santo Domingo.- Dominican Winter Baseball kicks off tomorrow Sat. with its six teams looking to get the crown, in the season dedicated to Cooperstown’s latest resident, Vladimir Guerrero.

The skippers of Santo Domingo’s Tigres and Leones, San Franci’s Gigantes, La Romana’s Toros, San Pedro’s Orientales and champion Santago’s Aguilas, have all stated that their teams will fight for the crown from the start.

“We are going to revalidate the crown, we have a contender team ready to not fail their fans and bring joy to Cibao (Santiago),” said Aguilas president, Winston-Chilote-Llenas.
