Movement wants to give Medina the boot

Sit-in to be held on Clisante St., Sosua.

Santo Domingo.- The Citizens Movement to Oust Danilo (president Medina) and the Constituent on Sun. announced simultaneous sit-ins, walkout and human chains in 11 cities tomorrow Tuesday,

The Movement demands that Medina step down from the Presidency and the ouster of the administration of the ruling party (PLD).

It said the sit-ins will be held from 5pm Tuesday October 23, in Baní, La Romana, Neyba, Mao, Bonao, Jarabacoa, Jima Abajo, Sosúa, Moca and in Santo Domingo Oeste.

“In almost all provinces human chains will be formed in central parks of major cities, and in the municipality of Sosúa, Puerto Plata province, the sit-ins will also be held in Herrera in Santo Domingo Oeste.”
