Fantino, Dominican Republic.- For 11 days and nights Fantino township and Duarte province dressed up to celebrate the annual Ecotourism and Production Fair, the 22nd since 1997, held at a different spot in the country and of Hispaniola.

Organized by the Science and Art Foundation, this year’s version drew over 150,000 people, who were treated to lectures, attractive stands and artistic and cultural activities every night.

The northeastern town small in size but big at heart started promoting the event since as far back as early October, and the effort paid off.
