Santo Domingo port contractor announces new director

Gabriel Rodríguez Pereyra.

Santo Domingo.- San Souci Puerto de Santo Domingo president, Lisandro Macarrulla, on Mon. announced the appointment of Gabriel Rodríguez Pereyra as the company’s Executive Director.

Rodríguez’s experience includes different functions in multinational companies with presence in the Dominican Republic, “accumulating extensive experience in organizational management, and in relationships with private sector associations and public sector institutions,” Macarrulla said.

“We trust in Mr. Rodríguez’s ability and leadership to lead San Souci. We will work together with all our partners in strengthening and promoting the Port of Santo Domingo and tourism in the city.”

Rodriguez thanked San Souci for the trust.”I appreciate the trust placed in me. This represents an opportunity to continue the development of the Port of Santo Domingo and continue contributing to the port and tourism industry of the country.”
