Northeast highway is 95% complete: Public Works

Santo Domingo.- The Public Works Ministry on Mon. said the reconstruction and expansion of the Hato Mayor-El Seibo highway (northeast) is 95% completed, which it affirms will benefit residents of those provinces and motorists.

Public works deputy minister Ramón Pepín said the work on the 23.4 km road includes the reconstruction of streets of all of Hato Mayor’s neighborhoods, as well as the completion of the Hato Mayor- El Valle highway.

Pepin said president Danilo Medina instructed the work on both roads.
