‘Emerald Province’ Monte Plata kicks off annual Expo

Monte Plata, Dominican Republic.-  The 10th annual  Expo Monte Plata 2018 kicked off Mon. with several forums and a cultural activities program, focused on showcasing the “Emerald Province’s” potential as a destination for investment and the transfer of knowledge by companies and exhibitors that have achieved success based on work and empowerment.

The forums will run until Wednesday with dozens of national and local exhibitors at the Expo that will run until Sunday.

The opening featured Social Entrepreneurship and the Digital Economy by Industry and Commerce Ministry expert Carlos Jiménez.

Also Innovation and Digital Transformation to improve Competitiveness by Noel Bou, followed by Advantages of Formalization, by the Internal Taxes Directorate (DGII).

The first day concluded with the conference, SMEs and Monte Plata with the panelist Magín Díaz, director of the DGII, among other financial experts.
