Diesel, gasoline fall; propane climbs, natural gas unchanged

Cheap gas, head for the hills (Pico Duarte)

Santo Domingo.- The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Fri. posted the fuel prices for the week from Dec.14 to 20, when premium gasoline will cost RD$213.70 per gallon, or RD$1.00 lower, while regular will cost RD$199.90, or RD$1.50 less.

Regular diesel will cost RD$171.90, or RD$3.00 less and premium diesel will cost RD$184.30, or RD$2.50 less per gallon.

Avtur will cost RD$136.60, or RD$2.00 less; kerosene will cost RD$162.80, or RD$2.10 less, and fuel oil will cost RD$114.45, or RD$2.00 less per gallon.

Propane will cost RD$107.60 per gallon, or RD$1.00 more, while natural gas continues at RD$28.97 per cubic meter.

The Dominican Central Bank’s posted average exchange rate of RD$50.34 per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
