Most fuel prices climb after a 17-week slide

Santo Domingo.-  The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Fri. posted higher fuel prices for the week from January 12 to 18, after a 17-week slide.

Premium gasoline will cost RD$208.40 per gallon, an increase of RD$2.90; and regular gasoline reaches RD$192.60, or RD$1.60 more.

Regular diesel will cost RD$165.80, or RD$3.60 more and premium diesel will cost RD$176.80, an increase of RD$3.10 per dollar.

Avtur will cost RD$130.00 per gallon, or RD$2.70 more; kerosene will cost RD$156.00, or RD$3.10 higher, and fuel oil will cost RD$107.15, or RD$3.30 higher per gallon.

Propane will remain at RD$103.60 per gallon and natural gas stays at RD$28.97 per cubic meter.

The Central Bank’s posted averaged exchange rate of RD$50.40 per dollar was used to calculate all fuel prices.
