Antinarcotics mum as questions into Police Colonel’s murder mount

Jose Eugenio Matos de la Cruz DNCD chief...mum

Santo Domingo.- The Drugs Control agency (DNCD) continues to keep mum into the murder of Police Col. Daniel Ramos, in Baní last week.

According to senators Wilton Guerrero and Dionis Sanchez, the DNCD knows where drugs are sold often in cahoots and ignore the citizens’ denunciations.

Investigators quoted by local media affirm that those arrested belong to a network that has operated for several years in Peravia province, led by Rafael Antonio Díaz, (Buche), the main suspect.

In addition to “Buche”, Luis Miguel Santana, also known as Walter Antonio Moreta Villalona (El Chamo), and Steven Milciades Ruiz González, (Chiquito or Malafé), will be arraigned today Mon.
