Two Dominican women’s volleyball teams among world’s top 10

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Republic is one of two countries whose women’s volleyball teams are ranked in the world’s top 10 in the four divisions of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) program.

Federation president, Ary S. Graaf acknowledged the ranking by presenting a certificate to Dominican Volleyball Federation vice president, Cristóbal Marte, during an event in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Mare, who is also the head of the NORCECA Confederation, traveled to Switzerland to attend the Council of Sports Events’ annual meeting.
