Rain Friday and Saturday, taper off on Sunday

Rains will replenish dams

Santo Domingo.- A trough will cause rains over a large part of the country increasing Friday afternoon and Saturday, tapering off Sunday, according to the National Weather Office (Onamet).

It said the downpours will intensify Friday night over the North, Northwest, Northeast and the Central Mountains.

Onamet adds that the trough will continue to cause showers on Saturday, and will gradually move away from the Dominican Republic on Sunday.
