Rain over eastern, northeastern provinces

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) on Monday forecast rain, thunderstorms and gusts of wind over a large part of the national territory on Monday due to a trough.

It said

María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte, Hermanas Mirabal, Sánchez Ramírez, Samaná, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, La Altagracia, Monte Plata, La Vega, Monte Cristi, Dajabón, Puerto Plata , Monseñor Nouel, San Cristóbal provinces and Greater Santo Domingo can expect rainfall.

The Weather Office adds that flash flood warnings are still in effect due to the current and expected rains, for the eastern and northeastern provinces from swelled rivers and streams.
