Medina, IDB chiefs powwow development in the Palace

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Tues. met with Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) directors in the National Palace where they discussed topics of interest.

After the meeting IDB executive director in the Dominican Republic, Carlos Pared Vidal said they discussed perspectives on Latin America and how they’ve reflected on economic development.

They also talked about Dominican Republic’s formula to have achieved a good assessment from that international organization.

“The presence of IDB executives in the Dominican Republic responds to the celebration in the country of the ninth edition of PPP Americas 2019, an annual meeting of reference in the sector organized by the IDB Group,” the presidency said in a statement.
