Poll gives Vice President a 51% favorable rating

Santo Domingo.- Vice president Margarita Cedeño is the most popular among the leaders of Dominican Republic’s ruling party (PLD) for voters, according to a survey by the consulting firm Newlink.

The poll made between May 19 and 21 interviewed 3,000 people, half of them women, who gave Cedeño a valuation of 51%.

Meanwhile president Danilo Medina gets 49%, followed by former president Leonel Fernández, with 47.3%.

Newlink didn’t provide a margin of error.
