Dominican voters prefer the Vice President, poll finds

Santo Domingo.- Approximately half of the population would be willing to vote for vice president Margarita Cedeño (55%), Santo Domingo mayor David Collado (50%), and opposition party (PRM) leader Luis Abinader (49%) in the next general election, according to a survey by Mark Penn.

The study says that former presidents Leonel Fernández and Hipólito Mejía are at the bottom of the heap and with a lower voter preference.

The Mark Penn survey polled I1,000 potential voters in the 2020 general elections from June 1 to 5 this year and has a margin of error of 3.1%.
