Dominican Republic opens embassy in Qatar

Doha/Qatar.-  The Dominican Republic o Wed. opened an embassy in Qatar, during an event headed by deputy foreign minister, Carlos Gabriel García, accompanied by the official delegation

Garcia noted that the two countries have had diplomatic relations during the last 19 years.

Moreover the diplomat revealed that five bilateral agreements have been identified ready for signing and three others are in their final negotiation phase.

“The agreements ready for signature deal with legal cooperation between the ministries of justice, exemption of visas for diplomatic, official and special passports, and cooperation in culture and sports.”
