Dominican Republic’s boxers bring back 6 medals

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s boxing delegation returned to the country with six medals at the Pan American Games: one gold, two silver and three bronze.

The boxers have won the highest number of medals of any Dominican delegation in the Games thus far.

The boxers returned to the Dominican Republic va Punta Cana Airport, along with the technicians who accompanied them in Lima.

Gold medal winner, Rodrigo Marte, said that he fulfilled a dream by listening to the Dominican anthem on the podium.
