Scattered showers Friday, mostly sunny weekend

Santo Domingo.- A new tropical wave from early Fri. morning brought humidity and instability, which together with the trough, will cause scattered showers, thunderstorms and isolated gusts of wind in the regions except the northwest.

The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts that for Saturday and Sunday, the tropical wave is forecast to move out of the local forecast area, where a decrease in rainfall is expected.
