Two major cities’ teams head to Dominican pennant

SANTIAGO.- Just one week ago the local team Aguilas languished in the Winter Baseball cellar 4 wins to 9 losses, with just three games left to classify. They haven’t lost since, including last night’s heart stopper.

It was their sixth win in a row and their landmark 36th final series in 58 championships.

With nine hits and taking advantage of the Tigres del Licey’s three errors, the Aguilas won 5 to 4, and will play against Santo Domingo’s Leones for the Dominican pennant starting Saturday.
