Bird hits plane headed to NYC, is forced to return to Las Americas

Santo Domingo.- A bird hit a passenger plane that had taken off from Las Americas International Airport for the United States and was forced to return after more than an hour into the flight.

The bird’s impact damaged the plane and panicked the passengers, a woman who was with her husband and daughter told Listín Diario.

The flight headed to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York at 2am Wednesday had to return an hour and a half later.
