Multiagency raids target the notorious ‘abuser’(Update)

Former major League players, Octavio Dotel, and Luis Castillo arrested

Preliminary reports say four vehicles were seized from the former pitcher.

Dotel was escorted to the jail at the Ciudad Nueva courthouse under heightened security

Santo Domingo.- Among the buildings raided figure Blue Tower, Naco district, where former Red Sox star David Ortiz, and César Emilio Peralta, own apartments.

FILE.- The Attorney General’s Office, the National Drug Control Directorate and other law enforcement agencies on Tues. raided several apartments, residences and businesses linked to César Peralta, “César el Abusador” (abuser).

The raids stem from a months-long investigation into money laundering, according to a source quoted by Listin Diaro.

Several discos and apartments in Santo Domingo Este and other sectors were also raided, including the upscale Bella Vista in the National District.

The Attorney General’s Office called an 11am press conference to provide more details about the operations.
