Hip-hop figures reportedly linked to kingpin

Santo Domingo.- The bust of the ring allegedly headed by the declared drug trafficker César Emilio Peralta, “El Abusador,” has involved various sports and entertainment figures that were once part of the network’s money-laundering platform or simply acquaintances.

After the raids by the Attorney General’s Office, the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) and the Army, in collaboration with the United States Drug Control Administration (DEA) and the FBI, photos of several impresarios appeared on social networks

The artistic promoter Yader Rafael Jaquez (Jaque Mate) and Nathanael Castro Cordero, appear with entertainment figures such as Omega, Farruko, El Alfa, Bad Bunny, Anuel, Daddy Yankee and others, including baseball star David Ortiz, whose alleged links to Peralta have yet to be revealed.
