Students run car over, kill two alleged gunmen

Santiago.- Several university students ran their car over and killed two alleged gunmen riding on a scooter in the northeast sector Thursday night, after being assaulted at gunpoint, the city’s Police spokesman Lorenzo Morillo confirmed Friday.

Morillo said the case is being investigated and the students of the Santiago Technological University are being questioned.

He identified the victims as Juan Carlos Morales and Jefrey Marte, who allegedly assaulted several students at gunpoint in front of the Central supermarket at 27 de Febrero Av.

The students, according to the Police report, chased the alleged gunmen in a Toyota Corolla and caught up with them in the sector Villa Progreso, causing their death of severe cuts and bruises.
