Health department intensifies dengue control actions

The Minister of Health, Dr. Rafael Sánchez Cárdenas, reported that the government continues to work steadily in order to reduce the incidence of dengue in the country.

The official said that the recurring and timely days of social mobilization has been part of the strategy of inter-institutional inclusion that seeks to involve everyone in the fight against this disease.

Sánchez Cárdenas also said that he felt optimistic about the goal that the Health entity has set for the dengue cases to decrease considerably in the next six weeks.
