Downpours trigger flash flood warnings for most of the country

Santo Domingo.- The Emergency Operations Center (COE) Thursday night increased to 23 provinces on flash flooding alert including the National District.

The alert was issued together with the latest bulletin of the National Weather Office (Onamet), which forecast that the downpours that have been drenching most the country will continue.

It said the rains, which are strong to moderate, are accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds.
