Downpours, thunderstorms continue

Santo Domingo.- Wednesday’s weather will continue with a mix of downpours, thunderstorms and gusty winds for the Northeast, Southeast, central valleys and border zone, from a trough over the Mona Passage and the prevailing East wind/

The National Meteorology Office (ONAMET) also forecasts lower than normal temperatures today and the same pattern will continue Thursday, with scattered showers and thunderstorms, more frequent in the afternoon.

It adds that an area of ??low pressure located 1, 590 kilometers west of the Cape Verde Islands has a (80%) probability of becoming a tropical storm in the next few hours.
