Dominican Republic tourism a ‘total success’ at Argentina fair

Buenos Aires.- Dominican Republic’s participation was a “total success” at the Latin America International Tourism Fair (FIT), where it was a guest country.

In this new version of the FIT held in this capital for four days, the Dominican Republic had an outstanding participation with a large delegation headed by Tourism Vice Minister, Fausto Fernández and representatives of 20 of the main companies in the sector.

During the fair Fernández held “important business meetings” with airlines, tour operators and other industry leaders.

He thanked the FIT organizers, the main tourist fair in Latin America, for their decision to choose the Dominican Republic as a guest country.

Fernández described Argentina as “a truly faithful issuing country with the Dominican market,” which has maintained sustainable growth for the past 10 years.
