American teacher is found strangled in Puerto Plata

Puerto Plata.- The body of an American-born teacher was found inside an apartment in Cabarete, Sosua, Puerto Plata on Tuesday morning, with hands and feet bound. local media report

The victim was identified as Patricia Ann Antón, 63, who had been residing in this municipality for several years. According to the coroner, the woman died strangled.

Antón worked as a teacher at the Mariposa private school for several years.
